They definitely put out a super yellow incandescent type feel so if youve gotten used to the soft white bulbs its a little bit of a system shock at first

The seller provided two replacements but only one of those was an improvement the second was worse than the originals

It gives you the warm oldfashioned glow of incandescent bulb but the efficiency of an led bulb

One thing i wasnt sure about though the bulb is covered with a thin plastic film

I wanted to remove the unsightly ul label printing which is right on the top part of the bulb bottom part of bulb if you are topmounting it but this print is underneath the plastic film
