I installed them hanging from the mounts and one of them actually came unbolted from my crash bars and hung from the wire swinging in the wind for at least a couple of miles before i noticed it and could get over and zip tie it back on

I was looking for something with a long beam and these have a 90 degree beam dispersion more like really bright parking lights

They dont really reach out more than 50 feet or so even if aimed up

They illuminate both sides of a two lane road like noon time sun but only out about 40 feet which isnt far at 55mph
