If i make a fist, it tends to freak out and have a * hand on the screen because it can't figure out what position my hand is in. Don't believe the pictures. Use ouclous rift or google cardboard.

Leap motion has recently made very good progress with their software if you have decent lighting it works surprisingly well in vr
Gorbort’s invaders it emulating pressing buttons very well the way you had to walk up to the button made it extra realistic
If the lighting isnt appropriate it doesnt track anywhere near its potential
The software needs to be linked against leap motions newest sdks so older software wont benefit without recompile
Competitiveness
I would however recommend the oculus over the magic leap but only because its lack of games so far compared with the oculus

This turned into a bigger problem since i had to wear my glasses with the magic leap which was more difficult than for example the oculus

As with the oculus you cannot affect the camera angle with your body causing the player to feel less in control of the game

This is especially in effect when the game calls for you to move but instead you have to teleport

The magic leap will be constricted in it’s games as it has to fit no matter the setting
