    The second needle that measures the maximum is quite loose, so when you first turn the water on it spins all the way around and doesn't give a real reading.

    I left it on all night and when i came back in the morning, the black needle was still at 65 but the red was reading 140psi, which i suspected was the case.

    The threads were the perfect size for that -- they do not work on the normal hose bib and the connection leaks like crazy there.
