Pros

For the money it is fine for a beginner. Great for high school band student who plays it every day. Perfect for beginners that aren't sure if they will stick with the instrument in the long term.

The keys are springy, smooth, and responsive. Some commonly-cork pieces (pads on trill keys, etc. Each joint was individually wrapped in a very soft disposable cloth.

Cons

High quality isn't expected, but not thrilled to put money into a beginner flute 30 days in. This is quite disappointing for my daughter (and myself) because now she has to use a loaner. Would not buy again. Might as well buy one from someone more rep... Read More

The flute does not meet the bar of a functioning musical instrument. The paint used for the flute is extremely cheap. Airy and difficult to master even a scale.

It ends of the head joint and foot joint weren't properly sealed, and to flake soon after opening. The flute was also easily scratched inside the case, and paint on the flute's body were scratched and chipped.
