Pros

Lasko is so powerful that it puts the holmes to shame. Great for old houses that were built with no insulation, it keeps you cool enough. Works nice with the 3 speeds and isn't overly loud. The white noise is amazing. Use the fan about10 months a year... Read More

I have zero complaints, it works great. I use the remote & am happy it has one. The remote is awesome because i can keep it on my nightstand and turn the fan up or down.

Cons

Setting it to oscillate increases the noise it makes to an unbearable level. It happens least when running at its lowest speed. Noise level is barely noticeable even on full power.

The fan blade is much thinner and more fragile than the old one. Now i have to go through the hassle of calling the company and either having them replace the fan blade or returning the fan to amazon. The currently-available lasko standing fan is ligh... Read More

Flash (plastic debris) around molded parts. Even the lasko logo is crooked on the front. Are (obviously) not made for longevity.
