This laser system doesn’t do any of those corny shapes like heart or leaves like many other laser systems do

There is a microphone on the unit that listens to the beat of your music and will flash the lasers accordingly

The only problem is that the microphone doesn’t pick up the sound very well unless it is very close to the speaker source

Another negative of the music mode is that during about 50 of the patterns the motor inside cant switch on and off fast enough to keep up with a fast paced song so it kind of throws it off

But the other 50 of the time it works flawlessly because i guess the motor that controls those patterns is just faster at reacting
