Pros
Excellent for straining seeds out of berries, much better than a screen type sieve! It is big which is a plus if you're working with a lot of fruit but it can be a bit cumbersome.
Cons
The double layers make it really difficult to clean. Also, very hard to clean thoroughly.

More difficult than a conventional sieve to clean though

Food gets caught in the lip between the solid metal and the mesh making it quite a chore to clean
