Pros & Cons
Pros
The absolute only 5v regulator for automotive use. Very reliable and robust regulators. Regulars seem to work to specification.
The first thing to check is the dc to dc converter. No tarnished or bent pins with clearly legible laser engraved chip id/info.
Cons
The components are loose in a poly bag (which is not anti-static) leading to several bent pins and an overall beat-up appearance. Slow response, low quality, mistakes.
Highlights
Quality
So far ive encountered no duds and as such am happy with the product and seller
