The bamboo handles are extremely smooth yet sturdy. The goat hair bristles are incredibly soft - much softer than i was expecting. The hard bristle brush is good for our oldest's thick wavy hair.

Cons

I have ordered 2 of these sets kn the last 4 months, bristles break way too easy. I really bad stink that filled the bathroom and after it dried it was still in the brush. It’s functionality is subpar.
