Everytime it wakes up the two monitors are mirrored instead of spanned and i have to power down and up the dock to correct it

It is not easily bent at a sharp radius which could let it be damaged and it needs some time after you get it to relax from the package wrapping circle else the cable torsion forced bend will be hard to work with

I would say lay it out on the floor for 30 minutes with both ends fixed under something before trying to put into place
