It's very accurate and takes the guesswork out of bringing something to 180, then dropping down to 110-115. It does the job in terms of measuring the temperature.

This gauge is great for heating soy milk for yogurt. Easily attached to cup for meat, and it works great.

Thermometer is not user-calibratible. I have a 20 ounce frothing cup and this takes up nearly the item entire diameter. When i immerse it in iced water for over 15 minutes and calibrate it to the green arrow (32 degrees), then put it into boiling wate...  Read More

The face of the thermometer is ridiculously huge. Returning it would negate any refund. This is the first time i have ever written a 1-star review for a brand. I would never order from this brand again.
