The automax feature is everything they say it is, adjust clamping force once. The automatic tension feature is nice, but can be tricky to figure out. But is not just perfect.

This version slips no matter how much you tighten the adjuster nut. Totally un-adjustable. It splits wood and the automaxx doesn’t auto anything.

Clamp works well but if your work tilts with the clamp in place it can rip out the pocket hole

However the the right angle insert the cylindrical claw can not be inserted into pocket holes made using the kreg micro jig

Straight out of the box they didnt want to work right

Nice addition to my kreg k4 master kit

My only complaint is that its too small by about 14 to join 2x4s
