Perhaps this saves me from the scratches on the bottom but i’m a pretty rough dish washer and put pots pans cookie sheets etc in this sink and have never had a scratch or ding issue on the sides either

But the manufacturer cut corners in an important area in providing a plastic drain

It cannot be tightened properly and it would not pass a plumbing inspection

We paid to have it installed but had to pay a plumber again 2 days later to come back and replace the entire drain fixture with an approved metal one
