The author for example will use a lot of example sentences throughout the book without explaining all of the grammar within the sentences and essentially why that sentence means what the author is telling you it means

I also dont necessarily like the way vocab is introduced and i personally dont even consider the vocab in this book because of that

It has some complex parts like the particles conjugation etc but they really try to simplify it as much as possible the language its self is not a piece of cake so dont expect a bakery

In fact bryan park who here and elsewhere uses his korean first name has a separate hangeul book that explains hanguel more but has the same 40 short videos

If you want conversational korean you can do no better than talk to me in koreans 8volume grammar textbooks that focus on conversation as they simultaneously teach conversation using lots of mp3 audio files one downloads for free from their website

It is impossible to learn conversation without grammar so korean for beginners does it right by teaching you conversation and grammar
