Main issue with this keyboard is the way you have to connect the keyboard. Making the keyboards to far apart for regular typing. It feels sturdy but it is not holding together well.

Before i get into the review i want to suggest a couple of tips to anyone wanting to use this with a mac but put off by the windowsonly programming software

First tip if you just want to swap the left modifier keys so they run ctrlaltcmd instead of ctrlwinalt you can actually just do that in the keyboard pane of system preferences

I used virtualbox which is free and you can actually download a free licensed windows image to use with it direct from microsoft just search for download a windows 10 virtual machine

Fortunately the hackable design of this board meant it was no trouble to open up and find a dry solder join on that switch

There were several other switches on the right half of the board that were lacking in solder too
