A little flimsy but I expected this because the legs are small which is what I wanted. It helps if I hdd weights/sandbags over the feet.

I did not use this as a selfie stick as they are banned from disneyland parks and i would need an adapter to adjust the angle.

I imagine it could be used as a selfie stick but you would need to use it on the leg side because the handle side is a lot heavier, and overall i felt this monopod had a good weight and sturdiness to it, so don't expect it to be light like the $10 selfie sticks.

Day one, a student dropped this guy out of a crows nest at the football stadium and dented the bottom length just enough to make it catch when closing it up.

Considering what this monopod can do, and don't take in account super build-quality with magnesium and carbon fiber, you look at a manfrotto for about 150 eur or higher.
