    I did not use this as a selfie stick as they are banned from disneyland parks and i would need an adapter to adjust the angle

    I imagine it could be used as a selfie stick but you would need to use it on the leg side because the handle side is a lot heavier and overall i felt this monopod had a good weight and sturdiness to it so dont expect it to be light like the 10 selfie sticks

    Considering what this monopod can do and dont take in account super buildquality with magnesium and carbon fiber you look at a manfrotto for about 150 eur or higher
