The colored ring located around the controls is a nice added touch it would lead you to believe that this speaker lights up it does not there are no leds on this particular unit

To change volume you have to hold the appropriate button down for a few second

To me this is backwards i should be able to use a momentary push to change volumes and then have to hold the button down to swap tracks

It does not use the standard usb to microusb cable instead it is a usb to 3
