They get faint after a few days but will light up for more than a week before i change the batteries because they are too faint

Its not the designs fault but just good luck and be prepared to spend the time untangling it

The one star off is because the third set had a broken wire towards the end of the string so a good 20 inches or so of the lights do not turn on

My experience is that they are good for 24 hours plus and not good for 48 hours
