I like it but right out of the box i had defective batteries that would not charge no matter what slot i put them in

Im just glad it seems to like whatever i plug into it even the oddball 600mah batteries that i have in a few solar powered lamps
I primarily use eneloop rechargeable batteries and i got recharge times of around 4 hours with this unit
I believe this is because the older ansmann charger doesnt use dvdt charging while this knox charger does
Ive put about 144 charges on eneloop aas and half that on aaas

Putting the batteries in takes a little bit more of a push than it seems would be necessary but this is not really a problem because the display clearly indicates when they are installed properly

It has protective system built in so it wont overcharge

It simply shows a picture of a battery and as it charges it fills up with black lines
