Sync and dash controls work just like before and theres a usb cable that i ran to the glovebox to charge your phone and if you connect a thumb drive or an andriod device you can probably play video too havent tried yet

The unit is a tiny bit glitchy mute button is labeled in chinese but im totally fine with that for the price

The display looks like my ford touch display layout not like sync 3 but the one before that and when you first turn it on it shows a mustang on the display just like the factory units

It also displays when your car door is open but the reviews said that they show the wrong door mine didnt if i have the right door open it shows the right door if the left door is open it shows the left

You will not be able to control the heater with this unit whenever you touch a button on the heater controls it will show up on the screen i think that is so that i can mimic the factory unit it looks cool though

There are a few items i dislike with the unit it has an annoying beep every time you turn on or off the unit when you connect your phone to sync the display says one conencted when it should obviously say phone connected no way to fix that unless you update and replace the language file some buttons have chinese writing on them so not sure what they are supposed to say when using the gps and listening to music every time you press a button on the gps it momentarily pauses the music for the button push i had to bend a metal tab in order to get the board to seat on the new unit unit requires trimming of the black back cover that comes off the original unit in order to properly seat on the unit hvac controls on the screen are there for display purposes
