I am in love with this product
This photo shows the product without the plastic filter piece

This one fits the bill though theres only a small amount of plastic that holds a mesh filter metal in place over the spout inside the pot
Competitiveness
I use it all the time much quicker for a tea drinker than kurig i just wish the cord was a bit longer
I trust kitchenaid products so i went with this electric tea pot

It heats up quickly is easy to fill and easy to clean and doesnt shriek like whistletype kettles do
