I ordered a used hp laser jet p2055dn printer on ebay the other day to replace my over 20 year old hp laserjet 4m laser printer which was jamming so often that it basically was not a functional printer anymore

I opened the well packaged box took out the toner cartridge shook it to redistribute the toner pulled the tabs popped it in the printer and printed some test pages

As expected the printer reports that this is not a genuine hp cartridge

Clearly the brand name doesnt matter to me though otherwise id have bout a genuine hp
