Pros

The screen mesh bottom is wonderful, the seed quickly dries after it rains, i haven’t had a carpet of grass inside. I also like that it drains so i am not so worried about throwing out soggy seed. The grate underneath is good too, in case we forget an...  Read More

This is the best bird and squirrel feeder i've ever had. House finches like to sit in it and eat safflower seeds. I keep a block of suiet on one side which attracts bluebirds and others.

Birds can sit comfortably on the edge or in the tray - while foraging or feeding. The divider is a great feature. More birds come to feed now than before.

It's much nicer for the birds. The concept is so simple and birds love the openness. The birds show no hesitation.

Included with teh feeder was a card for a free product. It can be hung by included wires or mounted from an included bracket. This tray comes with an easy to attach pole mount fitting, for those that want to mount this to a one inch pole.

Quality

I am very pleased with this product

Either way great price for the quality

My first feeder tray from another brand is cheaply made in comparison to this kingsyard product

It did come with the pole attachment for a 1 diameter pole that would need to be attached if you wanted

Packaging/appearance

It’s well made and looks just like it did straight out of the package through a new england winter

I took quiet some time to clean out the fruit residue

The packaging doesn’t mention if the wood has been treated for outdoor use but does not appear to be

In fact it went out of the box and outside as soon as it arrived

Competitiveness

The bottom of the feeder also has a wellmade metal screen that is very easy to clean

Tray wood feeder is carefully crafted with weatherresistant wood and rustproof steel hanging cable
