It did come with the pole attachment for a 1 diameter pole that would need to be attached if you wanted.
Packaging/appearance
The packaging doesn’t mention if the wood has been treated for outdoor use, but does not appear to be.
It’s well made and looks just like it did straight out of the package through a new england winter.

There is a set screw on the pole mount that would allow you to mount on a smaller pole, 3/4 inch for sure but not 1/2 inch.

I have seen a bluejay clinging to a smaller tube feeder with a short stick perch, flapping like crazy.
