Unless youre building a pc from scratch you dont really have to set anything up just plug in the sata and power cables and if you are building a pc for the first time you just have to select the ssd in the bios

Bought this to throw in a pc when upgrading other parts

I installed linux on it so my pc boots up and restarts about 30 times faster than a traditional pc with windoze and hard dsk drive

I had a little trouble with an older laptop recognizing it as the main boot drive but an update to the bios resolved the issue
