Pros
The sax is back and with it the cool, funky * characteristic of such classic ripps albums as curves ahead or life in the tropics. Jeffrey osborne does a nice job with his vocal. Brandon on sax is a great return.
Russ still has the creativity to compose high quality tracks that ooze thoughtfulness.
Cons

When russ makes an album that has the high energy mixed with sentimental pieces then those albums get many repeated listens

The drum ‘almostsolo’ on kings road is a neat addition that show of skill is very much appreciated

Only the title track had any piano that i noticed and it was more supportive rather than carrying the melody for a verse or the entire song
