Pros
Both the miter and bevel cutting angles are super easy to set. Only negative is that the instruction manual is hard to make sense of.
Great buy for the money. Solidly made and an excellent value - comparable to units twicethe price. I am sure he will love it when it arrives. You won't be disappointed.
Saw works great, had a small kick back and snapped the saw cover right off. All other features such as the laser worked bang on. The dual laser is nice.
Cons
Laser lens fills up with sawdust, makes the dual laser useless. The blade safety cover is stiff and will throw off accuracy of your cuts.

Price
Given the price i am very happy with this
Awesome price hope i get so long out of this one has i did my first one really good product
I didnt look for 116 accuracy the money i would have to pay instore to have the woodcut paid for this tool
Good for the price but not professional
Packaging/appearance
It works great got here in a very protected packaging and my husband has been using it non stop
I gave it full 5 stars and havent used any other double bevel saws
Competitiveness
I’m glad i didn’t spend way more for one of the bigger brand names
Probably i will keep an eye on the brand too for other tools
Its also very heavy compared to other mitre saws ive used

The laser pointer is both a like and a dislike

The down side is that it has a little plastic cover on it that is both difficult to get off for cleaning loose fitting and sawdust gets into it

When that happens it is hard to see the laser line on my work until i blow the sawdust out of the little cover

Not sure how critical it is to have the cover on to prevent bits of wood flying at the laser lights to work against breakage of the wee lights
