Once you read a page you build the vehicle they need. The next page is a continuation of the story and a new build. The book is brightly illustrated, injects some imagination into the building. This kit is more advanced than the robot version.

Their kits for younger kids are chunky and durable. My 2 year old granddaughter loves this! Have 2 & almost- yr old sons.

Pieces are easy enough for a toddler to put together and take apart. The instructions are easy to follow with help from an adult. The parts are big and sturdy so my son can put things together himself, and he loves the wheels and giant gear.

The toys vary upon age and skill. They play with these more than any toy they have. It’s nice to have a toy that doesn’t require batteries.

Once assembled, the toy isn't very sturdy and can fall apart. Take the forklift, for example. The arms on the fire truck and crane truck have nothing to hold them up.
