We took this to africa and i had peace of mind that the baby was protected by bugs and mosquitoes.

Pros:- mesh siding reduces risk of sids- there's padding underneath that looks detachable for cleaning in case you lay it in dirt- fits easily inside a suitcase, even carry on sized, for easy traveling- top is shaded to protect from the sun outside- decent size, i feel like it'll be useful for years (my son is big for his age)- comes with a convenient carrying bagcons:- difficult to clean unless you use a hose (this is actually my second peapod, as the first one got tomato soup on it (long story) and as hard as i tried i guess i didn't clean it well enough and it got mold on it.

Not putting my son in something that got moldy, even if i were to pay for professional cleaning.

The tent takes no assembly as it naturally pops open when you remove it from the bag.

Few notes:- this is not a safe sleep space for <12 mo as it reduces air flow which is a risk factor for sids.
