Even turning down the thermostat does not cool it properly and gets expensive so i was looking for a portable air conditioner.

It has wheels on the bottom to help move it, but on carpet they don't really work.

The things i would change is get the hose to clamp/fit in more flush to the piece you put in the window and that piece to be thicker.

The whynter has no adjustable louver, it only cools the floor.

It's easy to install, though we couldn't use the piece that goes in the window that you connect the vent hose to, because our window was not tall enough.

It does use a lot of electricity, i have to turn it off to use the microwave or it trips the breaker.

Arrived somewhat damaged, the screens on the sides were cracked, the hose is very difficult to insert as has been mentioned by others.
