Drain hose use requires you to attach a supplied plastic hose and drain hose connection adapter to the drain outlet inside the unit

The plastic hose is too small for an easy fit so i had to use a hair dryer set to high to soften the hose

There have been other reviews that say the fan shuts off or the fan never shuts off

It seems the compressor has to be off for a certain amount of time before the fan will shut off and that usually only happens for us when the weather has been dry for a few days and it only ever shuts off for a few minutes

You do need to provide your own drain hose for continuous draining this was not a surprise for which i just use a spare clothes washer hose its a standard hose connection so even a garden hose could potentially work if you have a good way to make sure its running downhill to your drain
