A little wine in the drip tray eliminates any smoke. If you like the lesser hassle of grilling with electric, but still getting sufficient heat for steak, it is worth the extra cost.

I would highly recommend this grill and even though its quite expensive this is in our minds a clear case of getting what you pay for
