Besides that the mounting ring is barely big enough to completely air seal the perforation in the door sheet metal

To add insult to injury if you use the included 14 screws to mount the speaker to the plastic ring it is quite easy to overtorque them causing them to lose all holding power

Thats because the screws are quite thin and the threading not very strong

Granted i should have used the template that is included on the box but that doesnt change the fact that the ring is barely large enough and the mounting screws are the wrong size

Also had to drill new holes in door panel for the woofers and align to fit woofer into actual door cutouts

I figured they were blown when the tweeters began crackling when listening to music and talk radio which made it quite impossible to listen to

Only drawback and the reason for 4 stars and i had no idea about this there is no speaker connector with them
