You can tell when they get old the metal lock piece will no longer fit into the slot and you cannot lock it very easy

He has a retractable cable lock that has started not retracting and because it was retractable the cable is lightweight and too short

The two keys that come with the lock have your lock id number on them so make sure you write it down and keep it safefor if you lose the keys youll need the id number when you phone kensington for replacement
