    I would advise having a second person assist in assembly (i know, it seems as if you ought not need to, but do it anyway) so as to minimize the towel rods marring the finished base plate overmuch.

    Assembly was a snap--two screws inserted through the base into the rods, which took about five minutes, but as another reviewer pointed out, the instructions (which seemed like overkill) were printed on a protective paper covering the base and directed people to remove it after the rods had been attached.
