I am not sure how those things are happening unless its a manufacturer defect on those bags or an abnormal strain on materials

If i did not tie them after tightening them they would loosen and create a major safety issue post 40mph

It holds a lot more stuff than i thought it would because it comes in a small little folded up square youd have no idea it would be able to hold so much
