Have both the 500 and the 2000 guess they made the 500 a lil larger than an ultra light reel able to hold more line well needless to say i loved the 2000 so i bought the 500 and also bought the kast king resolute rod and it’s an amazing combo for the price both reels seem really solid i mean i used to burn through walmart reels about every year with ultra light setups and this has a 1 year warranty then also signing up for there vip program which is free they extend that warranty another year i think kast king is my go to company for now on

A couple cons it does suffer from the bail not opening consistentlysmoothly and the drag isnt great

I did lose a bass due to the drag however i most likely would have lost it eventually on a better reel as a bass hit a 132nd jig with 2lb test
