Make sure you still set the wii settings to 169 which is fullscreen otherwise your picture might be stretchedoing and distorted

First recognize that the best video output the wii has is svideo which has its limits you will never get 1080p quality

The only possible bad thing i can say is that i cant remove my hdmi cable from this device

It is also a chinese cheapy cable so i am not sure if it is the cable or the device as it was the first cable i tried
