The glue will eventually let go and the bed will fall off of the sill

I even added extra velcro strips to the bottom of the bed to hold it in place better but on a solidsurface window sill like mine the adhesive on the velcro will not hold longterm

You have to decide if you want to drill screw holes in your sill or not to keep it in place
