I think its a user error on my part not having the settings correct or not having the collar snug enough

He scratches the collar to move it on the side of neck and does test barking to see if the collar triggers

He used to bark for over 2 hours after we left the house so if anyone else was in the house and trying to sleep it was extremely annoying

Now if we put it on him he barks through the first 23 steps then stops barking immediately or he just doesnt even try

I dont mind some alert from him but before we had the collar he would bark so loud and so crazy that we could hold a conversation at the door
