However when i tested the bottom of the kettle with a magnet i found the magnet to be weakly attracted to the bottom of the kettle…an indication that it may work with an induction cook top

The fact that bottom of the kettle is not entirely flat there is a raised section in the middle is not optimal for induction because the magnetic field that drives the heating rapidly diminishes with distance

The photo makes the pot look a lot bigger than it seemed when we got it

We have a glasstop electric range and the pot is so small it didnt really fit on even the smallest burner

The angle of the picture on amazon does make this look bigger than it is
