My fuel mileage did not improve at all but i think this is a bogus issue as taking any filter off would improve fuel mileage

More of a throaty exhaust sound

You can audibly hear the engine breathing better exhaust note is a pitch more mellow at idle and the slightest touch of increased throttle response
