Pros

The most common pencil lead is hb or #2. Finding soft leads (graphite) in the higher b range for mechanical pencils of different brands can be difficult. This lead is the correct hardness/softness for general woodworking use.

They are nice and long and are delightful to use. This is much cheaper than what i could get at other stores and doesn't break easily. Extremely pleased with the quality and price.

Pentel ain 2b is soft and pigmented. The darkness is good for 2b.

Cons

The quality of the lead refills is not great. Most of each stick snaps off and gets thrown away. The design of the bulb is to only last a few hundred hours, causing you to replace the expensive product again and again.
