Pros & Cons
Pros
June gold colored leads are a high-quality addition to any artist's toolkit. The variety of colors make it very handy for highlighting. I like coloring on my skin with pencils dipped in water.
These pencil refills are very good. It's the perfect match if you bought the jun gold 36 pack of colored mechanical pencils.
Cons
Color scheme is great, but the consistency of the material is more like a crayon and not a graphite type material. Many of the leads were broken within the plastic container that they are sent in. Some are so small they’re unusable. Great colors aren'... Read More
The first contact with the sharpener results in a snapped lead. When drawing it wears down quickly and it feels very scratchy. It breaks very often when sharpening which is annoying.

Price
These leads will save me a lot of money
The extra leads included is an added value like getting two sets for the price of one
But it is well worth the money
Packaging/appearance
Good choice of colors and packages to easily pack for travel
I purchased a red case and a blue case and both came with some of the leads broken about 10 12 leads were broken in each case
The colored leads were boxed with a 12 pack of soap which was able to move around in the box with the leads
Competitiveness
The selection of colors are better than what we could find in retail stores
I can only compare these to the original pentel colored leads but these are much smoother and less waxy
Might be a better option to pick these up directly from your local art shop

I can still use them but i won’t get as much use from the broken because there’s a point where it gets too short to use and that point will happen more than once
