They are dark in the dark, and fine in the light. I just hope that in time the finishes dont fade or get eaten up by my salty sweat. They are also a bit darker than most other shades. Very dark, good for snow hiking and other very bright situations.

The wide sides and high quality lenses handles the brightest day light. They offer very good protection from the sun and from glare.

They come with a nice ilittle microfiber sleeve for storag too. After a summer of hiking and stuffing in my pack when the sun went away, they show no signs of wear.

The lens impairs my vision. I doubt that they would be sufficient if i were on a glacier. These are terribly sensitive and have a very delicate coating.
