These are very nice, and the price was respectable. Visually, they look very sharp and clean. These work perfectly for the job.
Cons
Magnets are not strong nor rare earth. Market is flooded with low cost products with much better magnetic strength. Should have the magnets facing the opposite direction when considering the bracket curvature.

Highlights
Quality
It holds up for sure, especially a tight connection with the magnet(hence jeep project needs).
And, these are higher quality than what i find in other stores.

Two plastic magnet catches on my desk had failed (literally in pieces).

You must line up the plate exactly right.

The product is less effective if touching a screw instead of the plate.

For the magnet to hold tightly the 2 sides must be parallel to mate exactly.

Close the door firmly so the magnet gets pushed back and if you got the screw tightness right it will be held by friction when you reopen and finally lock the screws down.

I found the magnets made a small click so i used 2 sheets of paper when forcing magnets back in description above, to provide a tiny gap when door is held closed.
