I also thought that the picture was more 3d put it's just a picture with a white light behind it.

The shadow effect is gorgeous, it almost looks like a real frog is behind a light.

The display portion is made of acrylic and then a decal is imprinted on the back, however the decal is not sealed in the back and feels kind of sticky.
