Pros

It works great. Would definitely recommend and buy again. Sadly this is no longer available. Been looking for one for awhile.

This is a bone crushingly heavy wok, heavier than most that i encountered in china. The sturdy wood handle is great to manoeuvre the wok to get some brown color on the side.

Wok ring is for 14 inches and above. Be sure to get a ring to support it over the burner.

Peanut oil has a higher smoke point so i wonder if that would make the kitchen less smokey. The wooden handle across makes it a little difficult to flip toss food into the smoking oil as needed to get the proper wok hei.

Cons

Tired of scrubbing rust out of it. It’s getting rusty and black coat keep peeling every time i cook. Even after seasoning as per instructions, this is useless.

One reviewer recommends this wok after being forced to *glue* the handle on! I have a shop in my basement and used a tool specifically for tightening rivets and while it did tighten them some, it would not tighten them enough.
