It was quite difficult locking the outer red hard case onto the inner black rubber case for some reason but i finally got it on

While it has worked well so far it doesnt feel as sturdy as the rest of the case and would most likely snap off if dropped or bent in the wrong way

Only setback for me is not much room for l shaped headphone plugs iphone headphones fit just right

The dual layer case consists of a back that is made of hard plastic and a front half that is smooth rubber i think a few people have been confused by the term dual layer in the product description and were under the impression that the case consists of two separate pieces it does not
