I bought this to monitor my elderly mother when i am out it has helped great deal especially when i call her and she dosent reply i can see her on camera same time to know why not replying the intercoms in camera sound good for normal hearing person but my mum cant hear it i bought second one different model was very bad returned it i will be buying same model

Motion detection is great and films long clips till motion has stopped which is what we bought it for

It has so far remained connected via wireless unlike another i had briefly which would go offline after 5 mins and not come back without a reboot

Ive been able to connect and view the feed both in the house and when im out and about on 3g4gthe mipc app used to control the camera and view the images is a little clunky although just had an update which seems to have improved things just slightly it does though allow you to pantilt by swiping the image

Contrary to an older review you can now switch the ir leds off via the app which i have done for the above setup to avoid them just being reflected back off the window at night

It struggles with highcontrast eg indoors i previously had it pointing partly towards a window and when the sun shone in it would wash out the entire picture
